Beaton I had read all of the Raisin mysteries up to the one published 2007 but couldn't remember any of the specifics, except that Agatha is sort of off-putting and she eats a lot of microwaved meals. So I'm reading them again. She isn't a very sympathetic character on the outside, which is why I enjoy her. She learns things. The mysteries are always decent too.
