Lionel Asbo: State of England - Martin Amis Was really excited about this one because it's only 255 pages and I'm a member of the "less is more" camp when it comes to prose. Fairly typical (?) M. Amis. It's readable, kind of gross, violent, sad, and funny. I like that he's still around and setting off these stink bombs that nobody else is stupid/brave/famous enough to toss onto the school bus floor.

But I doubt that I'll ever read it again.
