Ghosts, Ghosts, Ghosts - Phyllis R. Fenner This along with a copy of Heidi and the novelization of Young Frankenstein were the only books my granny had that interested me as a child (she had very, very limited space). When we were clearing out her house, I snagged this. It's literally held together with duct tape and that is even starting to deteriorate. The tape was on it when I was a kid. The pages feel like very soft fabric. I'm hoping to get a better preserved copy to read to my kids and leave this one on the shelf.

My cousins, siblings, and I made a game of reading from this book to each other to see who could get the most people to scream. The classic "The Golden Arm" was our standard for this ritual, and it was usually read in a dark closet with a small flashlight.
